Deep Drawing Process Design and Quality Optimization of Mirror Micromotor Shell

Abstract First of all, a negative clearance deep drawing scheme is proposed for micromotor shell product with specular surface quality. The condition used to make the material bear strong extrusion and plastic deformation in process so that mirror realized, roughness Ra below 0.2 mm. Next, three-step forming developed, parameters each step are designed optimized. quality evaluated by finite element simulation. In addition, stamping trial-production test carried out, qualified obtained. Finally, thickness results show thinning rate meet application requirements. Therefore, developed reasonable.
